マクセルは、2023年から量産を開始したセラミックパッケージ型全固体電池「PSB401010H」を使用した産業機器向けバックアップ用全固体電池モジュールを開発しました。このモジュールは最大で5個の電池を搭載し、充電回路や昇圧回路を組み込み、安全性・長寿命と耐熱性を確保。また、一次電池の置き換えや新しい産業機器への搭載が可能です。さらに、10年以上の寿命を持つため、産業用ロボットやPLCなどでの電池交換の手間を軽減します。今後もマクセルは、アナログコア技術を駆使して、長寿命、高耐熱、高出力、大容量の全固体電池の開発を進める計画です。

今回、二次電池であるセラミックパッケージ型全固体電池「PSB401010H」を最大5個搭載し電源としたモジュールを開発した。充電回路や昇圧回路を搭載し、さらに全固体電池の安全性・長寿命とセラミックパッケージ型全固体電池の耐熱性を活かしたモジュールとなっており、一次電池からの置き換えや産業機器の新製品への搭載が可能である。

10年以上の寿命が期待できる全固体電池モジュールを搭載し、産業用ロボットやPLCなどの産業機器を使うエンドユーザーの電池交換作業による手間や生産性低下を抑えることができる。

同社は、これからもアナログコア技術を活用し、多くの社会課題を解決するため、既存の電池では使用できなかった領域の用途にも使用できる、長寿命、高耐熱、高出力、大容量の4つの軸で、高性能かつ信頼性の高い全固体電池やモジュールの開発を進めていく。
