加藤製作所は、全旋回式クローラキャリアIC70Rが2024年度グッドデザイン賞を受賞したと発表しました。IC70Rは不整地や軟弱地での建設資材や土砂の運搬に適した機械で、特に林業や土木工事などで利用されています。この新機種は、機体上部が従来の固定式から改良され、安全で快適な作業を可能にする優れたデザインが高く評価されました。加藤製作所は今後もユーザー目線の製品開発を継続し、使いやすさを追求していく方針です。

クローラキャリアは、通常のダンプトラックでは走行が困難な不整地や軟弱地で建設資材や土砂を運搬する機械である。林業や土木工事で活躍している。今回、機体上部が固定式の従来機を改良したIC70Rは、安全かつ快適な作業を両立させた設計デザインが高く評価された。
