都心と茨城空港を結ぶバス、航空機非利用者は片道1,200円に値上げへ

茨城空港を東京都心を結ぶバスの航空機非利用者の運賃を、片道1,000円から1,200円に値上げする意向であることがわかった。

現在、茨城県が運行事業者を公募している平成28年度の茨城空港連絡バス運行事業費補助金交付要項によると、平成27年度のバス利用者のうち39.3％は航空機の非利用者。

常磐道と首都高を通る効率的なルートで、茨城空港とJR東京駅や山手線沿線駅、交通結節点周辺を40席以上の高速バスタイプの車両で結び、運行便数は航空ダイヤに合わせ、年間最大6,833便、1日あたり15便から22便程度を想定している。平成28年度当初予算の成立が条件となっており、否決された場合は効力を失うとしている。予算額は7,377万5,000円で、1便あたり28,000円が補助上限となる。
