カンタス航空は運輸労組と合意し、外注によって影響を受けた元従業員への補償を決定。2020年の外注により、計1,820人に総額1億2,000万豪ドルの補償を設立。判決を機に合意に至った。

カンタス航空と運輸労働組合（TWU）は、業務の外注によって影響を受けた元従業員に対する補償に合意した。

カンタス航空は2020年、地上業務を外注していた。10月に連邦裁判所がこのうち従業員3名に対する補償に関する判決を下したことから、両者は2025年初頭に、影響を受けた元従業員1,820人に対する補償基金を設置することに合意した。

総額1億2,000万豪ドルを支払う見通しで、最終的な補償額は経済的、被経済的損失やTWUへの補償、個人への分配管理に関わる費用をカバーする。
