Hシステム総撤去の流れに乗り、ようやく撤去された山陽自動車道上り168.0KPのHシステム。ところが、なんと、ホットしたのもつかの間、約50m先にピッカピカのLHシステムが出現だ!

岡山県のHシステムが、ついに全滅!

　岡山県は山陽道の上り、鴨方ICの約3km先に設置されていたHシステムが、昨年の秋からこの冬にかけて撤去された。これで岡山県内のオービスは、一般道、高速道路含め、山陽道の新L型、1機になった…と思いきや、なんと撤去されたHのわずか50m先に、最新型ともいえるLHシステムが、突如、姿を現したのだ。

　残念ながら詳細な設置時期を確認できていないので、もしかすると撤去と同時、あるいは、Hのアーチを流用せず、しかも設置位置を50m先にずらしたということは、長野県警がよくやる「一時的なWオービス状態」になったのかもしれない。が、いずれにしても、岡山県内からついにHシステムが消えた、ということには間違いない。

　ちなみに、山陽道の上下線に設置されている固定式オービスは11機。その内8機はLHシステム、2機は旧L型のループコイル式、1機は新世代のL型と、これで対レーダー探知機対策は万全。くれぐれも事前の警告板を見逃さないように!
