東武鉄道、「往年の6000系リバイバル車両」を報道陣に公開

東武鉄道は、日光線全通90周年を記念して1985年まで活躍した6000系車両のカラーリングを塗装した「往年の6000系リバイバル車両」を11月25日、報道陣に公開した。

6000系は当時の旧型車両を置き換える形で1964年から1966年にかけて2両編成22編成、計44両が製造された。

ロイヤルベージュとロイヤルマルーンのツートン外装塗装色。

座席モケットは金茶色といわれるカラーを使用している。

主に日光線系統快速列車、快速急行列車に使用され、1985年10月から非冷房車であったことで6050型に更新され、その役目を終えた。

「往年の6000系リバイバル車両」は11月30日に団体臨時列車として運転を開始、12月1日にも団体臨時列車として運転、その後は通常列車として運転する。
