街で頻繁に見かける人気車種だからこそ、定番のローダウンじゃつまらない。そんな想いから30アルファードにデルタフォース・オーバルを与えたワイルドスタイル構築へ取り組み、タイヤ・ホイールのアレンジだけでも存在感がグッと引き立つ一台に仕上げてきたのがアップルオートだ。

さて、今回注目したいのは、そのワイルドさに磨きをかけるセカンドアプローチとして加えられた純正メッキのマットブラックペイントとなる。

こんな、ワイルドで逞しいスタイルだと、アルファードのアイデンティティである気品ある輝きが違和感のもととなってしまうため、エンブレムやガーニッシュ、ドアノブといった主要メッキパーツを重厚感引き立てるマットブラックへカラーチェンジしたもの。

ターゲットは塗料の密着しにくいメッキパーツゆえに丁寧な下地処理や脱着作業まで含めて予算20万円～となるが、アクセントポイントをセンス良く攻略することによる仕上がりレベルの高さを考えればコストパフォーマンスに優れた好メニューといえるだろう。

ちなみに、デモカーはハイブリッドのブルーを残したフルマットブラックに仕上げているが、ボディカラーや好みに合わせてセミグロスやカラー変更といったオーダーもOK。

デモカーは純正車高のまま。乗り心地や静粛性、インナー干渉をしないなどを考え、235/65R17のオールシーズンタイヤを装着している。

ハイブリッドのブルーを差し色的にキープしてマットブラック化した純正エンブレム。簡単に脱着できるサイド&リアエンブレムだけなら予算2万円～とお手頃なので、お試し的にマットカラーを添えてみるのもありだ。
