日本金融教育支援機構「FESコンテスト」が三菱みらい育成財団「みらい育成アワード2024」でグランプリ受賞!

一般社団法人日本金融教育支援機構は「みらい育成アワード2024」でグランプリを受賞しました。このアワードは、三菱みらい育成財団が主催し、教育事業者が行う先進的な教育プログラムを評価するものです。同機構の「FESコンテスト」は、小中高大生が協力して金融教育動画を制作するプログラムで、地域イベントや学校の授業に導入されています。探究学習と親和性があるこのワークショップは、教師からも関心を集めており、金融教育分野での活動をさらに拡大する予定です。また、一般財団法人活育財団のNext Education Awardや東京都女性ベンチャー成長促進事業「APT Women」にも採択され、活動が広がっています。

一般社団法人日本金融教育支援機構（東京都千代田区　代表理事：平井梨沙　以下「当機構」）は、一般財団法人三菱みらい育成財団（東京都千代田区　理事長：宮永俊一　以下「同財団」）が、 2024年9月28日（土）にJPタワーホールにて開催した、「みらい育成アワード2024～知見、実践、その想いを分かち合う～」（主催: 三菱みらい育成財団、共催: 文部科学省）より、2023年度に採択したプログラムの中から特に優れた活動・成果を上げた団体として、カテゴリー2「教育事業者等が行うより先進的、特徴的、効果的な『心のエンジンを駆動させるプログラム』」にて、グランプリを受賞いたしました。
当機構のプログラム「FESコンテスト」は、2023年度に引き続き2024年度も助成事業に継続採択されています。

同財団は「未来を担う若者の育成を目指す教育機関等への助成と、その成果を広く社会に波及させるための事業」を行っています。助成先は高校、大学、教育事業者などです。プログラムと実施主体などによって応募できるカテゴリーは5つに分かれます。

当機構の活動「FESコンテストによるワークショップ」は、カテゴリー2「教育事業者等が行うより先進的、特徴的、効果的な『心のエンジンを駆動させるプログラム』」に採択されています。

FESコンテストは「Financial　Education Support Contest for Student」の略称です。小学生のための金融教育動画を中高生が制作し、その品質を競うコンテストで、大学生の実行委員が運営しています。

ワークショップでは、お金について学びつつFESコンテストの応募作品を制作します。地域のイベントとして展開してきましたが、金融教育に関心のない子供たちにこそ学びを届けたいとの想いから学校の授業への導入も働きかけております。

お金について知っていることを洗い出す
レクチャーを受けてテーマを決定
テーマについて調べる
誰にどんなことを伝えるか、見た人にどうなってほしいかを考えながら企画を作る
動画で表現する

課題の設定に始まるこの工程は探究学習と親和性が高く、来場された教員の方々からも、高い関心が寄せられ、ぜひ自校でも金融教育にチャレンジしたいとのお声をいいただきました。
