同志社大学生命医科学部　飛龍志津子教授が日本学術振興賞受賞！

同志社大学生命医科学部飛龍志津子教授が日本学術振興賞を受賞し、2月7日、その授賞式が上野の日本学士院で執り行われました。飛龍教授は「コウモリの生物ソナーシステムに関する研究」が評価され、今回の受賞となりました。

日本学術振興賞は、創造性に富み優れた研究能力を有する若手研究者を見い出し、早い段階から顕彰することで、その研究意欲を高め、研究の発展を支援することにより、日本の学術研究の水準を世界のトップレベルにおいて発展させることを目的とし平成16年度に設置されたものです。今回は大学等の研究機関や学協会の長から推薦された人文学、社会科学及び自然科学の全分野を代表する45歳以下の若手研究者423名の中から優れた業績をあげられた25名が選出されました。
