兵機海運は大和工業グループと資本提携と業務提携に関する覚書を締結しました。この覚書は、両社間の持続的成長とシナジーを実現する目的で、物流機能の安定化・効率化、海上輸送の強化、構内作業と荷役業務の委託運営、船員確保の安定化を重点に据えた協力を推進することを明記しています。両社は今後も資本業務提携契約の締結に向けた協議を継続する予定です。この提携は、双方の業績向上と協力関係の深化を目指しています。

*18:17JST 兵機海運---大和工業グループと資本提携および業務提携の覚書を締結兵機海運<9362>は17日、同日開催の取締役会において、本年10月31日に発表した同社と大和工業グループ（大和工業株式会社および大和工業株式会社の連結子会社ヤマトスチール株式会社、以下、総称して「大和グループ」）との資本提携および業務提携を加速させるべく、大和グループと資本提携および業務提携に係る覚書（以下「本覚書」）を締結することを決定したと発表した。なお、今後も同社および大和グループは、資本業務提携契約の締結に向けた協議を継続して行う予定である。

なお、覚書の目的は以下のとおりである。
覚書の目的本覚書は、同社および大和グループ間の資本業務提携契約の締結に向けて、双方の持続的成長とシナジー実現を目的とし、以下の分野において協力を強化することを明確にするとともに同社および大和グループ間の資本業務提携（以下「本提携」）に関する基本的な理解と合意の枠組みを定める。
1. 物流機能の安定化および効率化
2. 海上輸送の強化
3. 構内作業および荷役業務の効率的な委託運営
4. 船員確保および関連業務の安定化
