新晃工業---国連WFP協会・日本ユニセフ協会に総額1,919,000円を寄付

新晃工業<6458>は29日、株主優待の優待品の中の社会貢献ギフト・寄付コースを申し込みの株主および優待品を申し込まなかった株主の優待相当金1,919,000円を、国連WFP協会および日本ユニセフ協会に寄付したことを発表した。
同社は本取り組みを通じて、SDGsの17の目標のうち、「飢餓をゼロに」「質の高い教育をみんなに」の達成に貢献していくとしている。SDGsとは、持続可能な開発目標(Sustainable Development Goals)の略称で、社会・経済・環境面における持続可能な開発を目指す、先進国も途上国も含めた国際社会共通の目標。
なお、同社の社会貢献ギフトによる寄付の取り組みは今年で6年目となる。
