民進・原口氏は「原則競争入札、随意契約禁止の改革を進めてきました。国有地払い下げが随意契約になる特段の理由は、何か？今日の予算委員会政府委員の答弁にいくつかの綻びがあったように聞こえました。速記録を精査します」と指摘。（2/24）

この一件について橋本徹氏は「価格算定の手続きが不透明過ぎる。廃棄物の撤去費用について鑑定士は鑑定していない。国が撤去費用を見積もり鑑定士は国から言われた撤去費用を前提に土地価格を鑑定。これで鑑定士が全体を鑑定したように装っている。」と指摘している。役所の意思ではなく、何らかの政治的介入があったと疑われても仕方のない
対応である。本件の問題点がはっきりしてきたことから、引き続き国会での追及が予想される。
