17日のニューヨーク市場は、長期金利の高止まりとFOMC会合前の金融政策の不透明感を背景に株価が下落しました。ダウ平均は267.58ドル安で43,449.90ドル、ナスダックは64.83ポイント安の20,109.06で取引を終了しました。11月の小売売上高が市場予想を上回る結果となり、FRBが明日の会合で利下げを行う見通しは変わらないものの、来年の利下げペースが緩やかになるとの観測が広がりました。セクターでは、自動車・バイオテクが上昇した一方、半導体・ヘルスケアが下落し、シカゴ日経225先物は大阪日中比で145円安となりました。

17日のNY市場は下落。ダウ平均は267.58ドル安の43,449.90ドル、ナスダックは64.83ポイント安の20,109.06で取引を終了した。長期金利の高止まりで寄り付き後、下落。朝方発表された11月小売売上高が市場予想を上回り、連邦準備制度理事会（FRB）が明日の連邦公開市場委員会（FOMC）で利下げを行うとの見方に変わりはないものの、来年の利下げペースが緩やかになるとの観測につながった。FOMCを前に金融政策の不透明感が重石となり、ダウ平均、ナスダックともに終日軟調に推移した。
セクター別では、自動車・自動車部品、医薬品・バイオテクが上昇した一方、半導体・同製造装置、ヘルスケア機器・サービスが下落した。シカゴ日経225先物清算値は大阪日中比145円安の39,255円。ADR市場では、対東証比較（1ドル153.48円換算）
で、ゆうちょ銀行<7182>、ソフトバンクG<9984>、日本電産<6594>、ルネサス<6723>、ソニー<6758>、村田製作所<6981>、ダイキン工業<6367>などが下落し、全般売り優勢となった。＜ST＞
