一般社団法人日本雑穀協会は、雑穀を活用した食品を評価する「日本雑穀アワードデイリー食品部門〈2024・秋〉」の応募を10月31日まで受け付けています。対象は賞味期限が短い加工食品に限定され、店内調理やイートイン食品で消費期限や原材料表示のないものは対象外とされています。このアワードは2011年に設立され、雑穀市場の健全な形成を目指します。審査は雑穀の専門知識を持つアドバイザーやクリエイターが担当し、厳正に行われます。結果は11月19日に発表予定です。

《デイリー食品部門の対象》
パン、スイーツ、弁当、おにぎり、惣菜、サラダなど、賞味期間が短い雑穀を使用した加工食品を対象とします。
ただし、店内調理やイートインの食品で、消費期限や使用している原材料が表示されていないものは対象外となります。流通形態は、常温、または冷蔵が対象であり、冷凍食品は含まれません。

※日本雑穀アワードとは
雑穀を使った優れた食品の表彰を通じて、健全な雑穀の市場形成につなげることを目的に2011年に創設された制度です。消費者を代表する立場で、雑穀の幅広い知識やスキルを有する雑穀アドバイザー、雑穀クリエイターが専門性を生かして、厳正、公正に審査を行い、一つの選択基準を示します。
