昨年12月9～11日に東京ミッドタウンホールで「2020 TRON
Symposium -TRONSHOW-」が開催されました。このシンポ
ジウムでは様々なセッションが行われ、RAUL株式会社代表取
締役の江田健二は11日に行われたセッション「DXでのオープ
ンIoT最新テクノロジーと社会課題解決」に登壇いたしました。
同セッションでは、官民双方から注目が集まる脱炭素社会の実
現、分散型エネルギーリソース活用の現状、さらにDX技術を
活用した社会課題の解決につて６人の登壇者がそれぞれの立場
から取り組みを紹介しました。

江田は、「Withコロナ時代のエネルギービジネスエネルギーデータの可能性」という題目で講演を行いました。講演では、まずコロナ禍がもたらしたエネルギー業界への影響に言及し、自粛期間中のJEPX（日本卸電力取引所）価格の下落や、それによる既存電力会社と新電力会社への影響を「勝ちパターンが崩れた」と表現しました。また、エネルギー業界においてデータの持つ役割が今後さらに重要になり、新たなニーズを生み出すことになるだろうと述べました。そして、そのニーズは、新しいビジネスモデルを形成することになり、既に行われている海外の事例をいくつか紹介し、世界的にエネルギービジネスが新たな展開を見せていると講演を締めくくりました。

この講演内容が2月20日発行の『TRONWARE VOL.187』（パーソナルメディア株式会社発行）に掲載されました。
