＜2019年のヘッドユニット市場の主な動向＞

コンシューマ・デバイス・テクノロジーの統合が鮮明化

スマートフォンへのコンシューマ・デバイス向けVPAの統合はもやは当たり前に見られるようになった。中国ではヘッドユニットに大手IT企業が提供するTAI（Tencent）、AliOS、Feiyu OS（iFlyTek）などのOSを採用する事例も増えている。

ディスプレイの大型化

量産モデルでディスプレイの大型化が急速に進んでいる。12インチや14インチあるいはダッシュボード全体に広がるディスプレイを新たに搭載するケースが珍しくなくなった。高級モデルでは1つまたは複数の大型ディスプレイエリアを確保するのが新たなトレンドとなっている。

縦長ディスプレイの採用

ディスプレイ大型化の波及効果により、一部車種でデザイン性よりも機能性を重視した縦長ディスプレイの採用が進んでいる。

地図のOTA更新機能の普及

埋め込みテレマティクスシステムで更新機能を提供しているのは依然として高級車種が大半を占める。量産車では地図データ更新の通信手段としてスマートフォンを利用するブランドが増えている。

米国／欧州ではOEMとサプライヤーの提携関係は概ね安定

欧州と米国では総じて、OEMとサプライヤーの関係はかなり安定している。

中国のサプライチェーンは今後変化する可能性あり

中国市場はハードウェアもソフトウェアも他の市場よりも提携関係が流動的であり、昨年はAutoNaviが多数のOEMとのパートナー契約を獲得した。
