■「ハウス・オブ・ザ・ドラゴン」について
本作は、ジョージ・R・R・マーティンの小説「炎と血」を壮大なスケールで映像化したもので、2019年に惜しまれつつも全8シリーズで幕を閉じたHBOの大人気TVシリーズ「ゲーム・オブ・スローンズ」待望の新シリーズ。舞台は「ゲーム・オブ・スローンズ」の200年前、ドラゴンを操るターガリエン家の物語を描いており、本作の製作総指揮は、この物語の原作者でもあるジョージ・R・R・マーティンらが務めている。
本国でティザー映像が公開となると、1億回以上の再生を記録、情報発信の度に全世界のTwitterトレンド入りを果たすなど、世界中から注目を集めている。8月22日(月)、最速となる米国HBOでの放送と同時刻に日本でも配信開始を予定している。
