ボッチャとは

　ヨーロッパで脳性麻痺者や肢体不自由者などで運動機能障がいがある人でも出来るように考案されたスポーツで、高い技術を駆使し、的（ジャック）にどれだけ自分たちのボールが近づけられるかを競う競技や、ターゲットマット等を使用してルールをアレンジすることで、レクリエーションとしても楽しめるスポーツです。
健常者と障がいを持った方もいっしょに、性別、年齢を問わず楽しめることができます。友達同士や親子での対戦でも、作戦次第では最後に結果が大逆転する面白さをあわせもっています。
