　【ワシントン時事】米メディアは１日、２０２４年大統領選の民主党候補指名争いを巡り、バイデン大統領が、初戦を黒人の割合が多い南部サウスカロライナ州にすることを含む規則変更を党内に提案したと報じた。初戦州は指名争い全体の流れをつくるため重要。バイデン氏は再選出馬を正式に表明していないが、指名獲得への意欲を示唆する内容となっている。　初戦は伝統的に中西部アイオワ州の党員集会で実施されていたが、サウスカロライナ州の予備選への変更を提案している。バイデン氏は党規委員会に宛てた書簡で「有色人種の有権者が、候補者選びの早い段階から発言権を持つ必要がある」と述べた。　【時事通信社】〔写真説明〕バイデン米大統領＝１１月３０日、ワシントン（ＡＦＰ時事）
