大雨警報の夜に酔って川に飛び込む…死亡

酔って千葉市内の川に飛び込んだ小学校講師の男性が遺体で見つかりました。

警察や千葉市などによりますと、５日午前１１時ごろ、千葉市中央区の川で男性が沈んでいるのが見つかりました。男性はその場で死亡が確認され、千葉市立美浜打瀬小学校の講師・山中鴻志郎さんであることが確認されました。

山中さんは、大雨警報が出ていた２日の深夜に、およそ６００メートル上流の橋から酒に酔って飛び込んだとして、警察や消防が捜索していました。

山中さんは、２日午後７時半から午後１１時半まで同僚の教諭２人と居酒屋に行き、３人で帰宅する途中だったということです。

千葉市は「まん延防止等重点措置」の期間かつ、大雨で防災体制をとる中、教職員が飲食店で深夜まで飲酒したことについて、「誠に遺憾」とコメントしています。
