「京王百貨店新宿店」は4月25日〜5月6日、7階の大催場にて、「新宿店開店60周年記念あいぱく～アイスクリーム万博～2024」を初開催する。

同イベントは、「日本アイスマニア協会」がプロデュースする国内最大規模のアイスイベント。2015年に初開催以降、累計およそ400万人の来場者を記録している。今回は「全国各地を巡るアイスの旅」をコンセプトに、各店こだわりのアイスを実演で販売する他、全国各地から厳選したご当地アイスや昔懐かしいパッケージのアイスなど、34ブランド・120種以上のアイスを展開する。

長崎の老舗洋菓子店「ニューヨーク堂」が提供するのは、長崎県のご当地スイーツ「たべるミルクセーキ」にソフトクリームを載せた「たべるミルクセーキ生ソフト」や、ザラメ付きのカステラにソフトクリーム、クッキーを盛りつけた「長崎カステラ生ソフト」。独自製法で仕立てたソフトクリームは、長崎県産の新鮮な赤卵を使用し濃厚な卵の味わいを楽しめる。

他にも各エリアのアイスが多数お目見えする。
