「ポカリスエット」新CMに驚異の新人現る！弱冠14歳の八木莉可子

　イオン飲料「ポカリスエット」(大塚製薬株式会社)の新ブランドキャラクターに、新人の八木莉可子が起用され、16日から新CMが全国で放送がスタートする。

　八木は2001年7月7日生まれの滋賀県出身。身長169センチという驚異のプロポーションを誇る逸材で、2015年11月に7851人が参加した「#THENEXT エイジアクロスモデルオーディション2015」にて、弱冠14歳でグランプリを獲得。これからの活躍が期待される新人。

　CMは、八木の等身大の姿を通じて、キーメッセージである「潜在能力を引き出せ。」を実現。高校の廊下で一列に並んだ八木と女子全員が歌い出し、踊りながら廊下を行進。部活動に励む青春のひとコマがどんどん映し出されながら、生徒たちは屋上へ。先生が止めに入ると思いきや、応援するように一斉にホースで水をかけ始め、大量の水が降り注ぐ中、ダンスを踊るという内容に仕上がっている。

　八木は特別ダンスが得意でなかったものの、約2か月、計35時間にも及んだダンス特訓と4日間に及ぶCM撮影での失敗や挑戦を乗り越えて、驚きのダンスを披露。CMに登場する総勢300名のダンサーに引けをとらないキレのあるダンスと、清楚な中にもキラリと野心を感じる瞳が見どころ。
