米空軍と軍事企業が新型爆撃機「B-21レイダー」を公開

12月2日、アメリカ空軍（United States Air Force、USAF）と軍事企業大手のノースロップ・グラマンが、第6世代となる最新型爆撃機「B-21レイダー」を公開しました。第6世代の爆撃機が公開されるのは世界初だということです。

デジタル爆撃機「B-21レイダー」は通常兵器と核兵器の両方が搭載可能。接近阻止やエリア拒否といった敵国のミサイル防衛システムを突破可能にする最新技術が詰め込まれたステルス性を特徴としています。

USAFは中国やロシアに対する抑止力強化が「B-21レイダー」配備の目的だとしており、2023年に初飛行が予定されています。
