アメリカ、カナダ、そしてイギリスで販売されている低価格ヘッドマウントディスプレイ「Merge VR」の販売地域が、アジア、そしてヨーロッパへと拡大された。

今回の発起により、フランス、ドイツ、日本、シンガポール、スペイン、インドのリテールアウトレットでの販売が開始された。

特に、世界第4位の名高いスペイン拠点の百貨店グループEl Corte Inglesでも取り扱われ、200以上の店舗で販売されている。

Merge EVPのコメント

Merge EVPのDan Worden氏は以下のように語る。

「我々は毎日、世界中の人々から、このゴーグル（Merge VR）を買いたいとの要望を受けています。そのため、皆さんの国での販売を開始するという今回の発表ができて、とてもワクワクしています。」

その他の発表

Merge VRはその他にも、アメリカ、カナダ、ヨーロッパ市場で、10歳の子の使用を認可するための厳密なテストを20以上行ってきたことを発表している。

そして、11月初頭には、「Moonshot」と呼ばれる新しいプロトタイプのコントローラーを発表した。

これは、iOS、Androidに対応した、モバイル型VRのコントローラーである。
