Vuzix iWearビデオヘッドフォン出展の様子

エンタープライズとコンシューマー向けのスマートグラス、AR（拡張現実感）、VR（バーチャルリアリティ）技術のリーディングサプライヤーであるVuzix Corporationは、本日から幕張メッセで開催されている東京ゲームショウ2017にてiWearビデオヘッドホンを出展することを発表した。

iWearビデオヘッドフォン、東京ゲームショウ2017へ出展

Windowsで無償配布中のAsuka Vision for iWear、RICOH THETA Vからの新機能「リモート再生」を使ってiWearビデオヘッドホンに接続して360度写真・ビデオを体験できる。

また、東京ゲームショウ2017出展を記念してiWearビデオヘッドホンの価格改定し、税抜き23,000円（改定前：税抜き27,500円）で本日より提供することも発表された。

先週発売された360度カメラ RICOH THETA Vのリモート再生機能を使うことでiWearビデオヘッドホンに表示される360度コンテンツをTHETA Vの加速度センサーを使って楽しむことができる。

またWindowsで無償配布中のAsuka Vision for iWearではTHETAシリーズで撮影した360度写真やビデオをWindowsプラットフォームでも体験できる。

リモート再生でiWearビデオヘッドホンと接続には下記のアダプターが必要となる。
