Lenovo、VR対応のタワー型PC3機種とゲーミングモニターを発売

Lenovoはgamescon 2017においてVR対応PCのブランド「Lenovo Legion」に、「Y920」、「Y720」、「Y520」の3種が新しくラインナップされると発表した。またこれと併せて、ゲーミングモニター「Y25f」も発売する予定だという。

Lenovo LegionはWindows10を搭載したPCで、カスタマイズ性やマシンの持つパワー、また、需要に応じてラインアップから最適な機種を選択できることなどから高い人気を集めるゲーミングPCブランドの1つ。

今回のラインアップはいずれもフレームレートの値が引き上げられ、Mixerを通じたライブゲームストリーミングなどにも適した性能となっている。

新ラインアップについて以下でそれぞれ順番に紹介していこう。

Lenovo Legion Y920 Tower

Windows10と第7世代のIntel CoreであるCore i7-7700K クアッドコアプロセッサーを搭載し、FPSなどの最も人気の高いゲームジャンルでも快適に遊べるようなスペックに設計されたタワー型PC。

また、このほかにもNVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 8GBグラフィックスメモリも搭載されており、VRゲームでも快適にグラフィック処理が行われることが期待できそうだ。

また32GB、動作周波数2800Mhzのスペックを持つ、オーバークロックに対応したDDR4メモリ「DDR4CORSAIR VENGEANCE LPX」をオプションで搭載することが可能。さらにオーバークロック時の発熱への対応策としてAstekの水冷式クーラーも追加可能だ。

2017年10月から、Lenovo.comで1999.99ドルより販売される見通しだ。

Lenovo Legion Y720 Tower

Windows10と第7世代のIntel CoreであるCore i7-7700、加えてNVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 8GBを搭載したタワー型PC。

この他に、オプションで16GBのIntel Optaneメモリーを追加することも可能だ。

このようにY720は既存の主要VRゲームタイトルをプレイする上で十分な処理能力を誇っている。そのため負荷のかかりやすいFPSなどのゲームジャンルでも、安心してプレイに集中することが出来そうだ。

2017年10月からLenovo.comで999.99ドルから販売される見通し。

Lenovo Legion Y520 Tower

Windows10と第7世代のIntel CoreであるCore i7-7700、NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060を搭載したタワー型PC。

Y520にはLenovo Entertaiment Hubに対応しており、Windows 10 Creators Upadateを導入していれば、VRに対応するようアップスケーリングされたFPSゲームなどを掲載した「カタログ」にアクセスすることが出来る。

「カタログ」にラインナップされるゲームタイトルについては公表されていないが、著名な作品が並ぶことになりそうだ。

2017年10月からLenovo.comで899.99ドルから販売される見通し。

Lenovo Legion Y25f Gaming Monitor

24.5インチのフルHDディスプレイを備えたゲーミングモニター。

リフレッシュレートは144Hzと、3Dゲームをプレイする上で目安とされているスペックを上回っている。お気に入りのゲームを、鮮明な映像と共に楽しむことが出来そうだ。

またY25fはHDR（High Dynamic Range）の高画質表示技術に対応している。画面の明るさは400ニットで、ほぼフレームレスなディスプレイとなっていることも特徴だ。

画面表示の反応速度は1ミリセコンドという速さを誇っており、ゲームのプレイ中にモニターの遅延に悩まされる……といったこともなくなりそうだ。

現時点でY25fの希望小売価格や発売日については公表されていない。

もしも興味がある方はLenovoからのアナウンスに今後注意を払っておくのが良いだろう。
