VR（バーチャルリアリティ）/MR（複合現実）/AR（拡張現実）事業を手がける株式会社アイデアクラウドは、2017年8月22日（火）、GoogleのAR技術Tangoを利用し、誰でも簡単に壁や床に簡単にテクスチャを適用し、その場で被せて試せるAndroidアプリ「KabusuAR」を、Google Playにて提供・販売を開始した。

簡単にテクスチャを被せられる「カブスモード」

アプリ画面イメージ

テクスチャを被せたい場所をマーカーを合わせてタップしながら囲う事で、指定した面にテクスチャを被せる事ができる。

また適応範囲を除外することも可能だ。

壁紙やラグ、カーテンなどを変更する際など、事前に変更後のイメージをアプリで確認する事ができるということだ。
