VR（バーチャルリアリティ）/MR（複合現実）/AR（拡張現実）事業を手がける株式会社アイデアクラウドは、2017年7月25日（火）、GoogleのAR技術Tangoを利用し、様々な計測や空間の3Dスキャンなど、誰でも手軽に”測れる”Androidアプリ「HakaruAR」を、Google Playにて提供・販売を開始したことを発表した。

簡単に距離の測定が出来る「計測モード」

「計測モード」は、測りたい場所をタップしていくだけで簡単に距離を計測できる機能となっている。

複数距離や面積の計測も自由自在にできる。

今までメジャー・巻尺などを利用した計測と比べ、簡単に素早く計測することが、対応スマートフォンと「HakaruAR」のみで可能となっている。

有料版では、計測後にカメラを通じて、計測結果と計測対象とともに、写真として保存ができるということだ。

立体的に空間をスキャンできる「3Dスキャンモード」

空間をスキャンし、3Dデータを作成することが可能となっている。

様々な視点モードを切り替えながらスキャンすることが可能で、空間を把握しながら3Dデータを作成することがことができる。

今まで、高価な機材と専門的な技術者でなくては難しかった空間の3Dスキャンを、対応スマートフォンと「HakaruAR」のみで行うことができるということだ。

さらに、有料版では、計測後データを端末内に保存し、3DCGデータ（.obj）としてエクスポートすることが可能となっている。

アプリについて

「HakaruAR」の機能を試すことができる制限付きの無料版で公開され、計測モードは240円（税込）/月、3Dスキャンモードは3,560円（税込）/月のサブスクリプションでのアプリ内課金で提供されている。

課金することで、計測モードではキャプチャが撮れるようになり、3Dスキャンモードではデータの保存・エクスポートが可能となる。
