株式会社ブループリントは、株式会社aprecioが運営するインターネットカフェ(漫画喫茶)「アプレシオ」新宿ハイジア店にて、8種類のVR(※1)ゲームが体験できる期間限定イベント「VR pallet」を2017年6月30日から7月にかけて開催することを発表した。

ブループリント×アプレシオのコラボイベント「VR pallet」開催

ブループリント社はコラボイベント開催の狙いとして、「もっと気軽に、誰でもVR体験ができる環境を提供する」ことをあげている。

今後は、この取り組みを様々な企業とコラボしていきたいと考えているということだ。

※1 VRとは「Virtual Reality(バーチャル・リアリティ)」の略式名称。現実ではないが現実のように感じられる世界(仮想現実)を作り出す技術の総称。

イベント開催背景

現在、HTCviveなどのハイエンドなVR機器が体験できる施設や機会が、VRを一般に普及させるためには少ないため、漫画喫茶のような気軽に立ち寄れる場所で、VR体験ができる機会をもっとつくりたいと思いから開催に至ったということだ。

ブループリント社は、今後について、この出張型体験会をパッケージにし、様々な企業とコラボイベントを開催したいと考えているとしている。

イベントの特長

・美人コンシェルジュがVR体験をサポート！

当イベントで使用するHTCviveの操作や、ゲームのプレイを、コスチュームを着た「美人VRコンシェルジュ」がサポートしてくれる。

1組45分間の試遊時間中、必要なときに快適なVR体験が提供されるということだ。

・8つのゲームを時間内遊び放題！

ブループリントが開発したVRゲーム「Magic Caster」を含む8つのゲームが試遊時間内は遊び放題になるということだ。

イベント開催概要

ブループリント社と漫画喫茶のアプレシオとコラボし、8種類のVRゲーム(HTCvive※2を使用)が遊べる期間限定イベントが開催される。
