トヨタ自動車が水素関連技術である燃料電池と水電解装置の新しい生産計画が経済産業省の「GXサプライチェーン構築支援事業」に認定されました。この事業は、日本がカーボンニュートラル社会に向けた成長型経済を目指すためのもので、国内外の水素市場を見据えた体制を構築します。トヨタは水素を「つくる／はこぶ／ためる／つかう」の各段階に注力し、特に欧米市場に向けた燃料電池の供給拡大を視野に、2030年までに7.5万基の供給を目標としています。また、水電解装置に関しては3ギガワット規模を目指し、水素製造の拡大に対応します。

豊田, 2024年12月18日 - (JCN Newswire) - トヨタ自動車(株)（以下、トヨタ）の燃料電池および、水素供給に向けた水電解装置の新たな生産計画が経済産業省の「GXサプライチェーン構築支援事業」にそれぞれ認定されました。

「GXサプライチェーン構築支援事業」は、経済産業省が「脱炭素成長型経済構造への円滑な移行の推進に関する法律案（GX推進法）」に基づき、定めています。これは日本の中小企業を含むサプライチェーンや技術基盤の強みを活用し、燃料電池および水電解装置を含むGX分野の国内製造サプライチェーンを世界に先駆け構築していくことを目的としています。

トヨタは水素社会の実現と燃料電池の普及に向けて、各地域の行政、乗用・商用メーカーや、その車両を使っていただくお客様等と連携し、燃料電池市場の創出に向けて取り組んでいきます。こうした中、水素で、2030年に商用トラック市場における確固たる地位を築くべく、特に需要が見込まれる欧米の燃料電池市場に向けて7.5万基の供給を目指しております。

水電解装置では2030年頃に累計3ギガワットの事業規模を目指し、急激に拡大する国内外の水素製造市場に対応していきます。
