三菱電機、量子コンピュータ系スタートアップの株式会社QunaSysへ出資

TOKYO, May 10, 2022 - (JCN Newswire) - 三菱電機株式会社は、グローバル・ブレイン株式会社と共同で運営するコーポレートベンチャーキャピタル（CVC）ファンド「MEイノベーションファンド※」が出資する第1号案件として、量子コンピュータの社会実装を目指す株式会社QunaSys（以下、QunaSys）へ出資いたしました。

QunaSysは、量子コンピュータの潜在能力を最大限に引き出すアルゴリズムの研究開発と、それをユーザが手軽に使えるアプリケーションの製品開発を手掛けています。日本を代表するスタートアップの一つとして研究開発の第一線で活躍し、量子コンピュータの活用に取り組む企業のコミュニティ「QPARC」の運営を通じて量子コンピュータについての学びの場も提供しています。

当社とQunaSysは、実用化の期待が高まる量子化学計算や量子機械学習、それら融合分野を中心に共同で研究開発を加速させ、早期の社会実装を目指します。

当社は、MEイノベーションファンドを活用したオープンイノベーションをさらに推進していきます。
