この日ゴールデンレトリバーの『モッシュ』くんが飼い主さんからもらったのは、捨てる予定のシーツ。

赤ちゃんの頃から布を引きちぎるのが大好きだというモッシュくんは、数ヵ月に一度のこの時間が大の楽しみなんだとか。

布をビリビリに引きちぎるなんて普段はしてはいけないイタズラですが、この日ばかりは飼い主さんもモッシュくんが思う存分「シーツちぎり」を楽しむ様子を見守るのだそうです。

モッシュくんはシーツを前足でしっかりと床へ押さえつけ、慣れた様子でシーツの端を前歯でつまむようにくわえると、勢いよく顔を上にあげてシーツを引っ張るのだそう。

ワイルドすぎるシーツちぎりを見せてくれたモッシュくんですが、綺麗に勢いよくシーツをちぎることができるのは、器用な「前歯」のおかげかもしれません。

別の投稿でモッシュくんは飼い主さんから、とうもろこしをもらったようです。飼い主さんが手に持ったとうもろこしの実を、モッシュくんは前歯できれいに削り取り食べていったといいます。

食べ終わったとうもろこしの芯を見てみると、根本から実が取られていて食べ残しがほとんどなかったんだとか。この器用な前歯のおかげで、シーツの絶妙なポイントをつまんで綺麗にちぎることができているのかもしれませんね。
