人類が困ったとき、頼るべきは猫の手であります。

慣用句だとばかり思っていた「猫の手も借りたいとき」がついに実写にて観測されましたので、ご報告申し上げます。

タイの某所で撮影されましたのは、ゆるめに梱包された段ボールの開梱に駆り出された三毛猫さん。日本人でしたら、これ！ことわざで見たことある！としか言わざるを得ない状況であります。

ビニールテープの真ん中に、猫から借りた手と爪を使ってスッと入れる切り込み。鋭い爪は難なくテープを切り裂きますと、私の用はもうおしまいと、箱の中身には目もくれず三毛猫はその場を跡にしたのでありました。シゴデキ系の三毛猫さんだったようです。
