犬の「トビー」は、5歳の時から頻繁に起こる発作的な痙攣に苦しんでいました。

いつ起こるかわからない発作。
彼はただただ怯えながら、毎日を過ごしていたと言います。

動物病院で検査を受けたところ、発作の原因は“てんかん”であることが判明しました。

しかし、彼にはどうすることもできません。
突如起こる激しい発作や痙攣に苦しみながら、ただただ治まるのを待つことしかできなかったのです。

トビーの病名が診断されてから数日後。
彼のお家には、新しい家族がやってきました。

この子の名前は「ジンクス」。まだ体の小さい子猫です。

2匹はとても気が合ったのか、すぐに仲良しになりました。
ジンクスは初めてトビーの発作を見たとき、とても驚いている様子でしたが、トビーが苦しんでいると分かったのか、側に寄り添うようになりました。
